DOX is a world-class food bacteria count system which has obtained an AOAC certification.
AOAC International is an organization founded in 1884 as Association of Official Agricultural Chemists, which aimed at standardization of test procedures of fertilizers within the United States.
In the present day, this organization verifies analysis methods of products such as food, medicine, feed, fertilizer or cosmetics, and detection or identification methods of microorganisms.
AOAC’s verification procedure is extremely strict. In most cases, analysis methods certified by AOAC are adopted as official methods in individual countries.
In other words, AOAC-certified methods meet the global standard. They will be listed in a book titled “Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL” which is a bible for people engaged in analysis all over the world.
